Apartment Mold

Mold Damage to this apartment grew from water damage created by a water heater that had begun to rust and leak. The condition was not discovered until the water pressure pushed through the rust creating a large hole, which allowed gallons of water to flow out into the apartment. The first order of business was to contain the affected area to prevent mold spores from moving throughout the apartment during the mold remediation process. Then we proceeded to perform water damage cleanup. Next, we removed and disposed of the drywall and flooring materials that would not be able to be restored. We dried and dehumidified until our monitoring devices reflected standard air quality readings. The entire area that had been affected was then treated with an antimicrobial agent to prohibit renewed mold growth. We remediated the mold and water allowing the building and finishing to begin.
